Gajularamarao is slum was in all rearward and Muslim families live in. that’s the place were Swarana Rakha is born and brought up in Hindu, a poor family. Her mother named “Deevena” is HIV positive  earns her living by daily wage labour if she would able the work for a day only family will have good meals , if not deevana and whole family will sleep with empty stomach. Her father expired before 8years before, only her mother works hard every day so that with their small earnings she can support her old parents and her only child “Swarana Rakha”. Her daughter also pursues work wherever she can find to support her mother.

Swarana Rakha abandons the dream of studying well and becoming a “software Engineer”. But the worrying financial situation at home stopped swarana Rakha from studying. With no peace at home and no proper guidance for schooling, it looked like they have no where to go and no one to turn to.

Swarana Rakha is a good natured girl. Despite her difficult circumstances she manages to enjoy life, care for others and be friendly. She has an interest in studies that is very heart-warming. But the financial conditions at home are not suitable for pursuing education. Eating one meal itself is something that no one can say will happen for sure at her home. Studying and spending money on stationery and tuition is something that is considered as luxury. Since no one would be at home after her mother went for work, Swarana Rakha’s safety and education proved to be a matter of concern for her parents. Swarana Rakha’s desire to continue studying seemed like a thing only to dream of.

When she was studying in 3rd class a small miracle happened near her home. A center for education called Vidya Jyothi project, Orphan’s Promise opened in Gajularamarao. This center aims to help children who can’t afford a good education a place to spend time in after school hours and get some help with their lessons free of cost. Swarana Rakha immediately joined there. It has been 4 years since Swarana Rakha regularly attends Vidya Jyothi project, Orphan’s Promise and now she is in 6^th class what could have been just a dream is now a reality for Swarana Rakha.

The help she gets from Vidya Jyothi project, Orphan’s Promise is very useful for her and has brought her thus far. Through Vidya Jyothi project, Orphan’s Promise is making all the efforts to guide and support the children with necessary school supplies and encourage them to have a bright future. Vidya Jyothi project, Orphan’s Promise brought light in innocent lives.
